jimmyrjm
Hi guys, As I am coming close to completion of my Triumph Gt6 Mk3 restoration I am finding that most of my time is spent fiddling with electrics and head scratching. I have 2 relays (I think that's what they are called?) and I don't know where they go? I have one attached to the bulk head of the car already. If anyone can advice me where these two go and what they are used for I would really appreciate it. Thanks! Jim.
dougbgt6
Horn relay, hazard flasher relay and flasher relay. Flasher relay is normally behind the facia so maybe you haven't encountered that yet? There is also a night dimmer relay in the passenger side rear wheel arch. This is best bypassed these days. http://www.canleyclassics.com/triumph-gt6-mkiii-steering-column-switches-flasher-units-horns-relay-etc
Pete Lewis
As another tip a workshop manual with the wiring diagrams gives you the wire colour codes which firms up what you are tracing to back up your investigations eg Purple/yellow is supply from relay to horns pete

Guest
Hello Jim. I put this pdf on another thread, but I'm sure it will be of assistance when you are re-wiring. Regards.
