spitrover
Not sure if Im allowed to ask this but here goes. The windscreen on my spitfire looks bare with no tax disc in it. I would like a peplica one. Has any one purchassed on recently - if so where from? Regards Spitrover

KevinR
You could even make up your own design to look like the old disc, and print it to show the current expiry date of your (hopefully) free car tax.

Mike Crewes
How about a photo of someone dear, kids, better half, dog, etc in the original tax disc holder? BTW, I recently bought a metal tax disc holder for the Stag, can I send it back and get my money back? Regards Mike :-)
Cookie
I got a replica one for my Dolomite on ebay. Had a disc that would have matched the original one when the car was first on the road in 1989. Expiry date of April 1980 and a post office stamp from Upminstaer Essex where the garage was that sold the car when new. Plenty of ebay sellers doing these. The one I chose supplied 8 copies 4 matt and 4 gloss. Only downside was that the perforations were printed but to be hosnest that doesn't notice when it's in the holder. When I renew the GT6 tax at the end of next month I'll probably do the same but I'm having to take an educated guess as to where the vehicle was sold when new as unlike the Dolly I don't have the original bill of sale.... JohnD
This may be a better use for an old tax disc holder. Of course a Triumph would have a chocolate digestive. John
