Herald or Vitesse convertible wanted

Hi, long time Triumph owner/enthusiast, currently car less. Looking for a Herald or Vitesse convertible as a daily driver,,Something mechanically sorted but perhaps needing a little tlc. I have seen a good prospect on the TSSC classifieds, however unable to contact the owner direct (South Wales)..pity as weekend free  and cash burning hole :-) . So if anyone knows of or has a suitable candidate, then please let me know. Cheers

You could try contacting the Area Organisers for North and South Wales, details of both are on here in the area directory. One of them may know the car you're talking about.

Clive, I assumed it was the same for the "for sale section" which roadster63 has seen, but maybe not? Maybe a PM? or will that not work either?

Thanks for the info. We went today down to the Midlands to view a car, sadly after all the hassle that goes with viewing and potentially buying to drive home, such as insuring etc, we found the car not to be as we expected. So back to the drawing board, hopefully the message sent via the TSSC to the vendor of the car in the classifieds will be forthcoming.

Dougbgt6, l have tried to contact the area rep for South Wales, where the car is advertised, however the number just rings out. Its a shame as l am a genuine buyer and if l could only get to speak to the vendor then maybe a deal could be done. The ad is recent, so theres a chance its still for sale.
