Run on after switch off

After converting Dynamo to Alternator my 1500 engine started running on after switch off, often termed as 'dieseling', I checked for all the usual causes with nothing found.

Then an article in the Courier 12 to 24 months ago gave a cure by inserting a (electronic) current flow thingie, which I duly bought but didn't fit. The copy of the mag has been tidied up (recycled) so now I want to complete the job don't have instructions.

If there is anyone who members the article or has even done the modification I would love to hear from them rather than just try different connections and blow something.

Thank you for reading.

Seem to remember having the same problem in my Vitesse many years ago. As mentioned above, make sure fans are switched off before you switch off the engine and see if that stops the running on.
