Pete Lewis
Do you accept zimmer frames Ha im sure we dont want to wait ten years to get HQ filled with members we won an open day some time back when area 'prizes' were awarded , its normally closed at weekends when most members are available, with standing the staffing requirement and not requiring BBq etc some runs terminating at hq organised by area's fits into use your car but the gates are shut dont see any easy way round this too frequently but shows how popular the sunday run proved to be . and needs building upon. pete
Triumph948
Hq is open for quite a few weekends a year look in the Courier,we support Lubenham village for open gardens in May and Scarecrow weekend in September both are well attended by the general public and areas of the Tssc do finish runs to coincide as this gives people a choice of what they can do once at hq. I couldn't agree more Pete it was fantastic to see hq packed ,have you thought any more about doing a ŵorkshop ? You mentioned this ages who Cheers Chris
Pete Lewis
Yes put a lot of thought into this orig idea was at home , then its grown, i reckon reality is what with a very busy area and our duxford event approaching (sept 10th) it will need to be later in mid september for a twiddle and tweak tutorial weekend for carbs /settings/tappets/ bit of gearbox/ tracking toe in etc. will talk to Bern about how and when and publish a date pete
Steve C
I once suggested the idea of a "back to basics" rally in Lubenham, doing an event the old way, ie Farmer's field, marquee, centred on club HQ and the local facilities in Lubenham. Hopefully the village would do well out of it, the HQ would get a lot of visitors, and we would not have the expense of hiring a big venue with all the costs that entails. How about it?
