Vitesse Prop shaft diffence from GT6?

I am about to purchase a D type overdrive set up from a GT6 to go into my MK1 Vitesse, I note the prop shafts have different part numbers?

yes they are quite different here are the OD fitted dimensions 

Gt6  is 36.09 "fitted length

vitesse is 44.20"

Vitesse - I have 47" for none overdrive and 43.5" with the standard D type overdrive. As Pete's feedback the GT6 prop is too short. One of the part suppliers should be able to provide an overdrive prop.
