Small screwdriver and 6 pairs of hands , once you lift one end onto the spline you can work around it to remove

But word of warning never reuse one of  these

Always get a new one , or two

Simple removal is to chop it with a chisel   you dont want to keep it

Old ones have a big habit of letting go as they get stretched

Theres a few tricks for 3 rail 4 synchro boxes

To reassemble  and stop the 1st 2nd collet thrusts jumping out assemble the box verticaly

Support the end of the mainshaft and lower case  over the top , tap the bearing down into the case ( needs  extra rent a crowd)

Gravity keeps the gear form jumping and the blighters pop out.
