... especially when she's driving. We had a slight disagreement about pre-Christmas purchases, the retort was that as she was driving I'd better agree or be marooned.

I took that as a challenge.

Three hours and twelve miles later, I arrived home with two huge red raw patches on my inner thighs and one massive blister on my left foot. I can barely walk today but my pride is undamaged. Unlike other bodily parts. You have to make a stand sometimes, you know.

Only an idiot makes the same mistake twice! Said that to one of our members at East Berks, turns out he married, divorced and remarried the same woman. Oh dear! Was I embarrassed or what!

I got married in 1974, in Britain,then divorced in 1995, by then living in France. Got remarried, in France, in 2009.

So what? To the same person. The divorce just didn't work out
