sulzerman
Hi all I have just dismantled my front suspension, a strut insert was leaking. Comparing the size of the new and old strut inserts, the new ones are about an inch shorter and a smaller diameter. Will this cause a problem? (see picture lower insert is the new one)Any advice gratefully received.
thescrapman
I would have thought you would need a spacer at the bottom of the tube. not sure diameter is such an issue. where did they come from.

Pete Lewis
never done one and the WSM is a blank on ths, all suppliers only list one as std , theres no mk1 mk2 issues but this design is it not the top face and the screwed capnut that hold it all in place so the length does not matter its fixed at the top the base well ...floats in free air Pete
