Paulfc
Hi, I'm partially stripping the car ready for a re paint. I've successfully removed the window (thanks to the excellent info on the Forum) but can't see how to remove the 1/4 light frame. There are clearly two bolts holding the frame but I'm unclear as to what/where else needs to accessed to release it. I'll be grateful for any advice. Many thanks, Paul
Pete Lewis
Theres a bolt/screw in the fwd face of the door just below the glass line, There are bolts in the vertical rail with a bracket attached at he lower end , this may need to be removed The whole ndv assy will lift and then curl to get the rail brackets out the door slot. There may be a wire to connect the bottom of the front and rear rails to stop any spread when slamming the door Well something like that Pete
Paulfc
Hi Pete, Thanks for that. It pointed me in the right direction and I got the job done. Never a dull moment with a Triumph! Thanks again, Paul
