Nearly £100 a pair, less the usual 35% discount, so about £60 delivered. Maybe a bitless via carparts4less (same company as ECP, but usually a bit cheaper and mail order only) EDIT cp4l indeed cheaper,£31ish each, but they have 14% discount off.... down to mid £50's, so sensible-ish. https://www.carparts4less.co.uk/headlight Hello All Those are the ones I fitted and I think with night breaker lamps, relay,s and an alternator they are as bright as moderns(not them funny bright white ones that burn your eyes out!) As I said before the beam pattern is better ie the light is on the road not up in the trees Its just finding the best price! but I think they are worth it they help with my old eyes! PeteH
Hi Any thoughts on LED`s?, any one tried, Does anyone manufacture?. Some thoughts "online" suggest most not "road" legal?. As Here :-https://www.motoringassist.com/motoring-advice/news/avoid-fitting-illegal-led-light-bulbs-car/ So I have probably answered my own question!. Clive
They are available, but not exactly pretty on an old car.... And don't be tempted to stick LED bulbs in a normal halogen lamp, it just won't work in terms of pattern etc.
PeteH
Hi Sad, in some respects, not least the fact that the loading on what in most cases can be "Ageing" wiring would be reduced. Without necessarily resorting to a plethora of relays. As an aside, I have them fitted to the Interior fittings throughout my Motorhome. In doing so I have reduced the battery consumption by almost ten fold!. With no noticeable reduction in brightness and usability. Pete
