dougbgt6
Wantage to Bradfield is about 20 miles. Not the car you would steal for speeding, joyriding or to get you home. Most odd. https://www.inyourarea.co.uk/news/classic-car-stolen-and-dumped-in-bradfield/ db

Colin Lindsay
It's the mentality. Lurgan, Co. Armagh has a considerable share of toe-rags and a certain unsavoury gentleman in his early 20s came into some money through a compensation claim. He bought himself a car. A few weeks later he was out with mates on a bender, they did a bit of rallying about under the influence with the result that he smashed the front wheel off a kerb and rendered the vehicle undriveable. Off they went back home on foot; however one of the passengers ran back to the car and returned a few minutes later. He had regrettably forgotten it was a legitimately owned vehicle and torched it, as they always did when legging it from a car... If you ever ask why they do these things, they don't know. Gully
I could venture an opinion as to 'Why?', but I won't as online opinions seem to be getting lots of people into trouble lately! Suffice to say there is a small proportion of every generation that turns criminal. Gully
Dave C
I have driven past the house where this car lived and have seen the car many times whilst taking my daughter to school. It's not like it's a deprived area or anything like that. Absolutely senseless and very sad.

AidanT
Are they the same ones that used to try and occupy the park just off the old Bedford road? They were a b****** pain and that was years ago before they put massive rocks along the side of the road to stop them Aidan

Stolen to order and then caught fire itself on the way to a lowloader in a lay-by? Insurance job?
