Tricky
Hi all. Haven’t been on for a while !I’ve had to open up my passenger door on my Stag to get a minor dent fixed, and I cannot remember where I got the excellent moisture resistant lining sheet which I put under the interior trim panel. I think it was to keep damp off the panel, and I don’t recall whether I had to glue it or whether it was self adhesive, which I think it was. Does anyone know what stuff I’m talking about ? It’s sort of white translucent material. Thanks as always Richard
AidanT
Sorry not sure of the white material you used. When I do mine I used thick polythene sheet and gaffer tape. It's worked very well in keeping the door cards dry over the last four years Aidan
Pete Lewis
They used to use a non setting goo to adhere plastic film to the carcass allows it to peel off There is a bitumen twin walled paper self adhesive used to cover the carcass holes but I cant find it Bin bag and Aidans gaffer tap must be the most economical Pete
Colin Lindsay
Thick, clear polythene works for me. You can attach it with silicone sealer, even if it sets hard it can still be peeled off and to be honest: how often are you ever going to do it?
