Paul H
Hi what is the correct name for the plastic plugs which attach the millboard to the body . Any info re size and where to purchase from appreciated My Vitesse mk2 saloon doesn’t have the lower dash millboard for the drivers side though the retainers are there . Plan to make one up and fit in place Paul
Colin Lindsay
Don't necessarily stick to the original plugs, which were metal and somewhat brutal in their day... any motor factors has plastic bubble packs of the modern equivalent, which are gentler on the trim and brackets but hold just as well. I have plenty of the originals if you need any, but on my own car I've replaced them with modern versions. They look almost exactly the same and often hold the trim more securely than the metal versions.
Ben Caswell
Parts book list it as "Button" 609412 but Colin is right as above. I think there should be some sound insulation behind the mill board.
Darren Groves
From my experience the fir tree clips that are supplied don’t hold that well. I use spire clips, self tappers and repair washers.
