Front and Rear screens

Hi all.

ive just been cleaning up my front and rear screens and removing the old gunk from the edges.  The rear one is ok but the front has a chip right in front of the driver.

Are these available new these days ?  I might prefer both but would definitely want the front.  If there’s a choice, any recommend suppliers ?

Depends what car you've got. On the Autoglass site you input your registration and they tell you if they can do it. They say they can do mine, whether they can remains to be seen!

Adding to Doug's suggestion, Pilkington do classic vehicle windscreens and here is the link to the Triumph section:

The majority of chips in front of the drivers eye, unless tiny, is an MOT failure. That said, it is also possible to have the chip repaired so that it is hardly noticeable to the eye and is MOT acceptable.

All depends on the size of the chip.

Most insurers cover free chip repairs  , worth a look, if its old and dirty it may not disappear.

As for replacing quite a simple job, toughend you can be quite rough with,   but lamianated is best left for someone else to break for you.
