Stewart Vacher
For the third time in as many years my GT6 Mk3's indicator flasher relay has given up the ghost. I have had a look on ebay to try and find an electronic replacement, but many of those on offer seem to be linked with LED lights. Has anyone got any recommends for a solid state version that drives conventional bulbs? Thanks Stewart
Clive
Halfords sell one! more expensive though. Many of those LED versions will be fine, they are rated at 20A. Just ned to add an earth wire, then uber reliable and stable flashes.
Darren Groves
I converted my Herald to an electronic flasher unit, details of how and what I bought to do it is here: http://triumphherald1360.blogspot.co.uk/2011/08/electronic-flasher-units.html The only issue it caused was light on the dash no longer worked, but there is a simple change to the wiring which fixes that. Not sue if the same on a GT6, but if the old relay earths via the dash light then the principle is the same.
