Colin Lindsay
Those ARE definitely good panel gaps! Wheel trims off Toledo / Dolomite maybe? I should recognise them but not enough coffee this morning so far...

Clive
In sheffield (where I was Tuesday, picking up a Fiat 500 with youngest daughter.Vitesse would have been cheaper...) Deffo MK1 engine. Push rod tubes and manifolds give it away.
Guest
Nice colour seating and with a bit of cleaning work on them they will look spot-on. It is a very tempting car could look superb with time spent just making the interior smarter and the engine bay. Hope it goes to a good home. daverclasper
Looks a pretty original straight car. Must be an early Mk1 on a D plate. What colour of red is that does anyone know. I'd have a look at this one if I didn't already have my own. Dave
dave.vitesse
It has a Mk1 engine. The reg D if original it would indicate a very early 2 Litre (Mk1). The colour, Cherry Red, is correct for a early 2 Litre or late 1600. Hub caps are from an early Dolomite 1850. Dave
Guest
Dave, Is the interior colour correct for Cherry Red ?? If it is not it should be !! Regards. Richard.
daverclasper
Looks like Cactus was trim colour for cherry (along with 2 other colours from 66-69). Looks like it could be a bit faded Cactus) Dave
dave.vitesse
Cherry and a Cactus interior was correct for the Vitesse 6 and Vitesse 2 Litre (Mk1). The seats and dash look correct for a 2 Litre car. Dave
AndyTV8
Pretty tidy car at a sensible price, few bits and pieces to tidy up, but nothing scary .... suspect it will find a new home without too much trouble. ...... Andy
dave.vitesse
From 1964 the Vitesse 6 had the same interior and paint options as the 1200 Herald. Cherry had a number of interior colour options including Cactus. However, the 2 Litre (Mk1) had more restricted options and in fact Cherry was only available with a Cactus interior. In my view quite rare. When the 13/60 Herald was introduced in Oct 1967 one of the options was Cherry paint but only with a Black interior. Again rare.
