Spitfire mk3

Hi has anyone fitted a Sdi rover v8 into a spitfire, and is there any pictures thanks

There were loads done in  the 90s, must be plenty of pics on the interweb?

Andrew Stone did them commercially, used a single Weber 45 on a special inlet sat low in the v, but probably better ways of doing it. He also ran the exhausts outside the main chassis rails, it ideal.

And then the diff. If you fit a V8 that will be a problem. There are solutions, but think of it as a package not just engine/box

I'm sorry, but I think this would be a terrible waste of a Mk3 Spitfire, one of the most sought after marks. Do it to a later one by all means
