model clues for answers

the forum doesnt segregate by model, its hard to dream up clues if there is no clues , is it a herald or mayflower

Gt6 or Bond 

 

please add in some basics , for definitie problems , model, engine, rotaflex  , non rotaflex, modified , with what ??  etc  

many problems are not model related but some are and non of us  are mystic Meg   !!!

 

there little use spouting on about SU when its got webbers fitted   or drive shafts when its Rota flex  if you get the drift

Simple, actually give some info in the post. The usual stuff applies, 90% of car in the club have solid driveshafts, but we need to know. (Or are you saying separate GT6 mk 1, 2, 3 and late non rotoflex mk 3?? Likewise vitesse, do we have vit 1600, 2L and mk2? maybe another section for CV or DL??)

 

I think Pete is alluding to a recent post on shafts? if so there was no way of knowing what shafts unless it was put in the post. Which it wasn't (no problem, the OP can easily add info)

 

Nope, keep it as it is, it ain't broke, people need to add clues, that is all.

Don't know if its possible but can a new topic require you to fill in some list options like car and age in a kind of form style? You camn always have an "Other Option" for general queries - Just a thought
