Guest
Hello. Can anybody recommend a particular manufacturer(s) for the supply of headlamp beam deflectors for fitting on to the smaller headlights such as the Vitesse, please. Or is it a case of modifying the standard types to suit the smaller headlight ?? Touring France next month so on my list of items to get. Thank you in advance. Regards. Richard. mishmosh
Its easy with a bit of black tape. Go on a golf gti forum. They must have an answer.
John Bonnett
Its easy with a bit of black tape. Go on a golf gti forum. They must have an answer. That what I have always done. Use tank tape and trim with a scalpel.

TomL
I've always used the Lucas yellow plastic clip-over lenses. They have three clips which fit to the headlights' chrome bezel but as these are a bit of a pain to get to on the Vitesse, I use three small squares of double sided tape. I expect you can find these on eBay but they'll probably be termed "vintage"! Tom
Casper
Try: http://www.brick-yard.co.uk/VehicleSpecific/T3/info/headlamp/headlamp.htm 1. On older type diffusion patterns you can see quite clearly where the glass is moulded so as to make the light kick up.. 2. High output Halogens, coupled with black tape may generate a local hotspot and POSSIBLY cause lens to crack. C.
