JohnD
A local facebook page publishes historical pictures of our city and area. Among others of Lancaster in 1972 was this one: Convertable ?Vitesse, parked on Castle Hill. Lancaster Castle, then a high security prison (see The Handless Corpse Case! http://news.bbc.co.uk/local/lancashire/hi/people_and_places/history/newsid_8296000/8296851.stm) is behind trhe camera. It's too low-res for me to read the number "30? RTE(?)" I've tried several alternatives but the DVLA does't recognise any of them. JOhn
Gary Flinn
Looks like an Early 948 Herald Convertible to me, the Registration could be 300 RTE or 308 RTE?
