Darren Groves
I always used NGK BP6ES, then changed to NGK BPR6ES after Megajolt was fitted.
Pete Lewis
The R is , resistive, made for suppression and need nearly double the HT our cars coils produce, really made for much more modern cars, the resistance will make for a very weak spark and will for many give you misfires and poor running, Darren runs mega jolt and has modern HT coil or coils our Ht is around 22kv a modern would be around 32kv or more with a coil for each cylinder shorter dwell times etc. So never an R on our aged design pete
