What a great day out. The weather held and a fine collection of Triumphs (plus some imposters) and good to chat to a few owners. Thank you to to the organisers and volunteers - and the music, both airborne (Spit, Dragon Rapide & Jet Provost) and of course the band!!!

Cheers, Richard

Here are some of the pictures I took at the event. My first time attending so thanks to all who had a hand in organising it; it was a really good day and I'm glad the weather held off.

I'm still searching to see a primrose yellow car in the flesh! The closest i've managed to see so far is a jasmine yellow vitesse (here at duxford). My GT6 is either going to be primrose or valencia blue...

Anyway, on with the pictures:

And finally the winners 'podium':

pleased you enjoyed the day , we are concious of the repetitive venue, but pleased with around a 100 cars on site  , still waiting for some pics to arrive but thanks for those Jezza , the last shot shows the cars with awards

there's Daniel Eglintons GT6 which he started restoring from a wreck when he was 15, Rob Bridger's Spitfire 1500  and Michael Partridges Acclaim

all youngsters in the classic ownership and well worthy of a  trophy, good choices from Martin and Bob for searching these out from some wonderful cars ,

Peter Best Insurance donated a bottle of bubbly won by Bern Millar with his original Herald Coupe

the singers sang the sun shone, the  tea and buns got eaten, and the spitfire take off's were a thrill to the ears

thanks to all 159  who  paid and made the effort ...its appreciated by us

and so you all know your gate money  included a £1 to our area fund to run this as  Herts and Beds get no fees from IWM  for getting customers in just invoices .

thanks Pete and the Duxford Team
