Jeffds1360
Don't ask. :) need to remove rear seat back on the cv but cannot find anything in the manuals! any clues please. Surely not all the poppers and edge fittings? :) please bear with me.
Pete Lewis
there is normally a stud/and nut up near the deck inside the boot the then lift and pull to disengage the low down hooks Pete

trigolf
I think you'll have to drill the pop rivets out of the tonneau press studs along the back edge of the seat back, if it's a convertible. Gav
Jeffds1360
Uh! Thanks Gav, it is and that is just what I did not want to have to do! I'll dive in boot and see what is holding it. Maybe it comes out with all the poppers on.
Pete Lewis
just realised you have a CV i have only played with a saloon could be quite different Pete
NonMember
Yes, unfortunately Pete's advice only applies to saloons. The convertible seat base just lifts out but the back is held by stuff you can't get to without some drilling. And the side trim panels are wedged in by the seat back so you can't even remove them easily.
Jeffds1360
Here was me so happy with sorting the half shafts and looking forward to doing a little upgrade to 'pacify' the wife. No one mentions these little foibles it has in the write ups! Oh well...here we go again. First one to guess the upgrade gets a raspberry...no.no...a strawberry. I do get mixed up
