Jeffds1360
I've tried the usual... fabsil, renovo, turtle wax conditioner etc but never been happy to take it out in the wet. I'm trying some equestrian wax. Apparently it is for horse blankets but states canvas too. Here's a pic. of it half done. Not pretty but probably waterproof

Jeffds1360
Ha! I have some Denzo tape from 30 year back. That is definitely waterproof.... in 4 " strips! Tip for waxing... warm it up or do it in sunshine. It melts in. Wish it was chocolate knowing my luck it will freeze up in winter and be so stiff it won't fold? RogerH
Wouldn't Nikwax work. It has a good reputation of working on waterproof clothing and doesn't show. They make quite a range of products. Roger
