Darren Groves
Any particular oil/grease to lubricate a Stag steering rack?
Pete Lewis
surely a power stg rack has no external lubrication points ??? just a thought Pete
Darren Groves
What came out of the gaiters didn't look like PAS fluid, but the car has been unused for years so maybe just gone a bit weird.

Darren Groves
Back to the Stag steering rack..... ....Track rod ends and gaiters were replaced, when the old gaiters were removed the actual rack contained what looked like something in between grease and fluid, it's this that I was trying to identify not the PAS fluid in the pump/hydraulic part of the system. Any ideas?
Pete Lewis
Not stripped a power rack but if there are bushes and moving parts not in the atf stream I guess any Multi grease just thumbed the 2000 manual, same Pstg rack, and rebuild it says grease the rack ends and remove hex plug fit nipple and add grease, doesnt say what or how much manuals at there best !!! pete
