rlubikey
Thanks for posting guys. Quote To improve usability and reliability I made a lot of upgrades ... Quaife limited-slip diff’ and TR6 driveshafts. TR6 driveshafts on a Vitesse? What's that all about??? Cheers, Richard
steveweblin
I believe that Leons Vitesse is a Mk2 Vitesse and the rear suspension would normally include Rotoflex joints. With more power and wanting fit and forget reliability he has TR6 driveshafts instead. Getting decent Rotoflex joints are expensive and involved job to replace. rlubikey

Cheers, Richard Think it was done before CV conversions were about, so the sliding spline TR shafts were the usual upgrade. Of course, they were in turn upgraded with Datsun shafts, and now also use the CV conversions. rlubikey
Graham C
Thank you for posting the article it was very interesting. An interesting approach getting parts from other cars to make a complete one, Leon must have been very dedicated. I think I remember reading an article in the 90s of someone building a car from new parts. Not sure if that article was true and if it happened? Colin Lindsay
Hugh Roberts built a complete Vitesse, if the memory is working correctly the VRM was KOD so I think it ended up being called Kodfish? Wasn't it in TSSC HQ at one time?
