Howard
Hi Triumph lovers, I'm trying to complete a restoration of my Spitfire 1500. I'm currently working on the soft top. I have repaired a small section that had torn with my last bit of vinyl and now need to strengthen the area opposite to prevent that side splitting. There lies my dilemma. Does anyone know where you can get a small piece of black vinyl, rather than a full meter, which is very excessive and expensive. Thanks for any help. Pete Lewis
you could try places like dunelm mill they have some cloth backed vynil amongst the fabrics they sell if you have an outlet near you and might sell a small peice ... bit of a long shot Pete

NonMember
If your seats are black there may be a small flap of spare vinyl dangling from one of them. I've certainly seen that - possibly the factory left a bit for use in repairing minor damage.
