GFL Posted October 21, 2020 Report Posted October 21, 2020 Hi All Can anyone confirm if the Front Seats on a Vitesse MK2 Convertible are handed? I'm convinced I've read somewhere that they are different for Passenger and driver. I don't have a Parts Book anymore for the Mk2 Vitesse, but felt sure they are listed has two separate part numbers, anyone got a Parts book they can check? Regards Gary
Guest Posted October 21, 2020 Report Posted October 21, 2020 Hello Gary, Mk2 Vitesse: 907354 - shows convertible frame assembly, front seat. It does not indicate that the 2x frames (Drv & Pax) are different; however the saloon (905687) and convertible do have different part numbers, as you can see. The front seat slides are certainly handed - LH 812434 // RH 812435 Hope that assists ?? Regards. Richard.
Pimp my Vit Posted October 21, 2020 Report Posted October 21, 2020 As above seat covers are listed as L & R
martyn wright Posted October 21, 2020 Report Posted October 21, 2020 Hi! On my 1600/6 the seat runners are handed as the slide adjustment are on the inner side, next to the tunnel! Cheers martyn
GFL Posted October 21, 2020 Author Report Posted October 21, 2020 It looks like the Drivers & Passenger Seats are the same then but the runners are handed. I must be getting mixed up with Convertible seats and Saloon being different, I wonder what the difference is with the Saloon/Convertible seats? Thanks Chaps
johny Posted October 21, 2020 Report Posted October 21, 2020 The two front seats on a saloon are identical as Ive successfully swopped them over but of course their instalation on the runners is different for each side.... 1
