SeanG Posted July 7, 2015 Report Share Posted July 7, 2015 just working on the distributor and when i fitted the new fuel pump (http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-213577) it s kinda in the way... don't think fuel line for carbs will fit, so just thought, can i open it, rotate and refit ? construction looks like circular, so wouldn t make no difference right ? thx Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Pete Lewis Posted July 7, 2015 Report Share Posted July 7, 2015 yes the body is fully rotatable...but make sure you dont unhook the diaphragm from the cam lever, just turn the top section if it parts its easy to re hook the pull rod to the cam lever by compressing the diaphragm spring and push /turn the diaphragm.
