Mix matching used rockers and pushrods.

This is actually, more about using the existing pushrods in their historical  positions with the tappets, but with alien used rockers. Is this ok, and does it work, as far as creating an ok new footprint with the rockers goes? (if not maybe use some valve grinding paste?).

yes they do wear into each other best kept as matched sets 

in the end of the day this is not always possible  

one idea would be use the existing tappet screw fitted in a new rocker 

but whilst is best to match  dont loose sleep over this  and no grinding paste  , its really not needed 

if you can match fine but if not you have what you have    ..and go with it
