Top ball joint rubbers (herald/spit)

I do not rate these new rubbers I got from ANG. Just a little cone!

When I split the taper and peeled off the old rubbers (they were badly perished) I found they were much more substantial and had a nylon ring at the top which fitted in a recess. 

Are these new ones really suitable?

I loaded lots of grease in before refitting.  Bit of a problem tightening but I 'g' clamped it and managed ok.

Edit to ask... do they really go with the taper to the top???

AAAAARGH.....I think I have fitted the seals for the lower joint!!!???

Cannot find seals for the top so I'll have to get new balls.

Only 16 quid with seals and nipples

Gawd. Balls and nipples...wrong site?

Cheers scrappy. New ball joints ordered. I'll keep them in mind when replacing my rubbers.
