Ziggy Posted April 1, 2021 Report Posted April 1, 2021 in My TR6 1973 my temp gauge works fine, no problems, the question is where my radio space is I am fitting two gauges and a clock, one of the gauges is a temp gauge, slightly different from the tr6 one. can I run the wire from the existing gauge, still using that one and split the wire to run the other as well, or would it be too much load on it or not enough even to work it?
dougbgt6 Posted April 1, 2021 Report Posted April 1, 2021 Why do you want a duplicate temperature gauge?!! And no, they are resistive and putting them in parallel will make them both misread. Even the new one on it's own may not be matched to your temperature sender. How about a different gauge all together? Oil pressure, volt meter or vacuum gauge? Doug

dougbgt6 Posted April 1, 2021 Report Posted April 1, 2021 Ziggy, Here's mine. The ammeter is now a volt meter. Doug
