Good morning from a newbie, but GT6 owner since 1986-87

In 2002 I had my triumph GT6 sprayed BRG. The braked fluid reservoir has leaked while in storage requiring a local repair.
I do not have a paint code how can I track down the correct code and colour?

I have some thumb sized paint flakes that have peeled off as a result of the oil, which may have absorbe some brake fluid

I purchased touch up Rover 1993 Brooklands BRG, it's a very very close match , but I need to be sure.

Any assistance would be gratefully received.

Many paint factors will do a scan of a piece of the car , certaily club shop can arrange this

But needs to be a small section dont post a boot lid Ha !

Depends where you are located ,

but a scan will give the right mix of pigments to excactly match

Pete, many thanks for the prompt response.

I live in Leicester, I can send a battery clamp and several flakes, would this be suitable? What is the cost of this service?

Thanks again
