Gnasha Posted August 10, 2015 Report Posted August 10, 2015 Good morning from a newbie, but GT6 owner since 1986-87 In 2002 I had my triumph GT6 sprayed BRG. The braked fluid reservoir has leaked while in storage requiring a local repair.I do not have a paint code how can I track down the correct code and colour?I have some thumb sized paint flakes that have peeled off as a result of the oil, which may have absorbe some brake fluidI purchased touch up Rover 1993 Brooklands BRG, it's a very very close match , but I need to be sure.Any assistance would be gratefully received.
Pete Lewis Posted August 10, 2015 Report Posted August 10, 2015 Many paint factors will do a scan of a piece of the car , certaily club shop can arrange this But needs to be a small section dont post a boot lid Ha ! Depends where you are located , but a scan will give the right mix of pigments to excactly match pete 1
