VixenPPP Posted June 4, 2021 Report Posted June 4, 2021 I don't understand this. Is this the right lamp for the inner light. As you will notice the bulb has one prong. Should it not have two ? like the sealed unit I've taken out. Anyway it doesn't work and when I put the sealed unit back in, it works. .....Neil
GrahamB Posted June 4, 2021 Report Posted June 4, 2021 From the photo it looks like there is a separate earth connection between the two top prongs. I would guess that the power has to be connected to the single bulb connection and the bulb earths through its case to the holder which then needs a separate wire to earth.
Pete Lewis Posted June 4, 2021 Report Posted June 4, 2021 you need to get an H4 bulb not a H something bulb in an adaptor or you would have to add an earth to the blade terminal on the side of the adaptor ring Peter
