brian wesby
How does one remove the clutch housing bush/oil seal (part no. 132078) from the release bearing end of the bell housing in order to replace oil seal?
Pete Lewis
the front cover with the htrow out nose is a light tap in fit in the main clutch housing so it can be removed for better access the seal does not have a lot of lip to punch it out and you often need a sharp wood cisel to cut through the seal case to extract it just about to do PaulH 's seal and they can be a bit of a faf do make sure you have a seal and not SCROLL !!! if there is a lot of wear on the trowout pins it makes the lever less leverage and a washer under the spherical post can reposition the lever pivot the post is again a light tap fit in the main housing it just realigns the see saw levereage to be equal pete
brian wesby
Thanks Pete. Having spent a bit more than 10 seconds looking at it a second time, it became more obvious. New one successfully fitted.
