68vitesse
The kits for refurbishing the pumps do not include the oil seal and I could not find a seller so thought I would have a go at an old pump. Bought some material of eBay advertised as pump diaphragm material, carefully removed the retaining cup and using the old ones as a template used a sharpened 22mm pipe fitting and a 5.5mm punch to make the new seals, old ones to left. Stem of diaphragm is quarter inch, 6.35mm, so seemed about right and cup easily straightened with a suitable socket, any thoughts on why this will not work before I try it on an engine. Regards Paul.
