Mathew
Well with three full size cars i have only been allowed small ones! Not a bad haul. Herald vangaurd model five pounds. Two tr3a's open top 4 pounds the other 3 pounds both corgi. The Tr7 was 50p . Now the red tr3a needs a little clean but should i restore the Tr7? Its even got authentic rust underneath! They will join the stag and spitfire in my little collection.

The same way we made our own Model Aircraft Bubble canopies in the 50`s?. Carve a Blank to get the correct shape polish it within a inch of its life smooth. Get some clear plastic pin it roughly over the blank, Put in Mothers oven, steal `er indoors hair dryer?. Until it warms enough to take the shape. allow to cool, trim and fit?. Edit:- See, Pete knows how it`s done!!.

PeteH
Hi The year I started Work!. Sweeping Floors and making tea/ running errands (mostly to the bookies! or for the Bacon Rolls!), for a bunch of "hairy ar*ed" fitters Before going into the aprentice school. Hence why I thought myself "too old" for a kid`s programme. Pete

Mathew
Two more to the collection Some more tr3's in very good condition. There wàs a herald 1200 in very good condition but i was not going to pay 26 pounds for it! Similar there was a slightly larger rally tr7 for 14.50. Might of got it if i still had a tr7! A mk1 spitfire in good condition for 26 pounds was too rich for me. I will keep an eye out but unless its a mk4 or 1500 or gt6 mk3 I'm not paying more than a tenner for it.
