PeteH
Have you tried letting go of the handbrake cable?. If the cable is too tightly adjusted it could be causing your issue?. This happens with Fiat Ducato`s. You HAVE to back off the Handbrake, then adjust the Rear Brakes. then you re adjust the handbrake, sounds counter intuitive, but is a fact. Colin Lindsay
Some of the shoes need a small chamfer to each edge otherwise they'll be tight to the drum. You haven't done what I've done in the past... jacked the car up, put it on axle stands then wondered why the rear wheels wouldn't rotate?
Pete Lewis
Il'l give him font not even the pulpit would be accepted yes disconnect the HB cable and lock up the adjusters reconnect the cable to a nice fit and de adjust to free the drum do make sure the shoes are fitted ok the trailing shoe must have the square hole at the bottom ie opposite way up to the leading shoe was there any wear in the back plate where the HB lever rubs this stops the cylinder freely sliding in the back plate who said font when theres the crypt Pete
