Colin
HI folks, The chap renovating my 1970 Herald 1200 has unfortunately dropped the rear number plate light unit glass. Rather not buy a whole unit with all the gubbins inside - just the glass. Can anyone confirm the markings on the glass please? For instance, SAE R68 embossing and - LUCAS L766 ENGLAND If that's what's on a 1200, then I may have found one on the 'net . . . Thanks for any available help! Colin Lindsay
Lucas 766 is the Spitfire rear numberplate light, if I'm recalling correctly. L467 might be the 1200 version, fitted to a lot of cars including Mini and Morris Minor. Glass only top link, full s/h unit below (apologies for the long links) https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/382922732484?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=7101533165274578&mkcid=2&itemid=382922732484&targetid=4584826055637456&device=c&mktype=&googleloc=&poi=&campaignid=412354546&mkgroupid=1299623041023876&rlsatarget=pla-4584826055637456&abcId=9300541&merchantid=87779&msclkid=abb9c95e19c311ce3084a8615c96c5e2 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/124891413934?hash=item1d141bbdae:g:GHIAAOSwsOdhLzUY
