Pete Lewis
where did that number come from ?? its not a triumph part number Pete
Colin Lindsay
The V number is a strange number, appears on many manifolds possibly from the casting reference but differs between models and carb types - V3186 is possibly Vitesse 1600; V3235 is another 6 cylinder maybe 2.0 litre Vitesse or GT6, as is V3153, TR6 may be V3389? I can't find a definitive list as it's not the Stanpart number. Photo please Martyn and we'll work from there.

Colin Lindsay
That bracket is possibly for a cable-operated accelerator; that points to a later 6-cylinder. Maybe GT6 Mk3?
Pete Lewis
not mk3 it doesnt have the idle air bleed holes for the cdse temperature compensators........so anywhere a bit earlier with a cable throttle so what do you want to use it for ???? martyn wright
Hi! The chap said it was off a Vitesse and I was looking for a Vitesse manifold with the hole to fit a Servo??
Pete Lewis
probably thats correct makes sure its ok for a Mk1 /1600 porting a mk2 engine is very different while its off time to check the corrosion of the dreaded banjo bolt , its very likely to snap off on removal due to seizure and corrosion which seriously weakens the banjo bolt Pete
Colin Lindsay
Is that possibly 3153, not 3155? 3153 is early GT6, possibly also Vitesse; the photo below shows similar down to the same bracket, although the casting number is 3015. The cable bracket is definitely not early Gt6, but the manifold has the same hole on both Vitesse and GT6 so the manifold is common to both. martyn wright
Hi! Its a good deal for the Manifold, I'm in no rush to fit it as I have just finished rebuilding the engine and she runs nice after 23 years! I will check my Manifold number also!
