Can't quickly get to the last post anymore

I used to be able to click on the RHS of screen "author and X min or hour ago' ago which immediately sent me to the last post, it doesn't work anymore, sometimes the action now sends me right back to the originating post which can be pages back, or to a post say 5 from the last post, where it sends me appears to have no rhyme or reason.

The problem exists even if I'm using my iphone, ipad, or computer access via Microsoft Edge, so it appears to be my set up on the forum, I've scanned around the forum page and can't find any appropriate settings options, mind you with computers I can bu***r anything up!

Can anyone point me in the right direction please it's very frustrating.

What happens when you click on the blue dot or star ?

It should take you to the first post on a thread that you haven't read.

the only blue dot is 3 dots giving report or share, which doesn't give any format options,

I can't see a star anywhere on the screen of topics/headings.

Kevin if I click on "follow" it advises "Follow Can't quickly get to the last post anymore" is this a possible issue

On Android smartphone I can click the blue dot on left to go to newest post. See screenshot below

I'm using Microsoft Edge on phone and laptop

Correct, blue dot or star turns grey and becomes inactive once the post is read.  It’s a star if you have posted in the thread and a dot if you haven’t

My androids doing same thing, goes to first post instead of last, I dont know how to sort it.

Frustrating isn't it esp if there's 17 pages, up to a couple of days ago I just clicked on the last post x min or y hrs ago and was there, What have I touched?

New to the set up is the top posters on the subject I'm looking at which takes up the right hand side of the page, it wasn't there before!

i dont use it on phone so only have laptop/pc clues 

have you changed one of the  three  tab  options in the top right   side of the browse page  which makes big changes to the layout ??

I get no problems browsing from my Laptop with Chrome, similarly, no problem with Safari on both my iPhones.

It might also be worth clearing out all your cookies and the cache and see if that makes a difference.

A small thing I have noticed, on a new thread with only the first post, if you click the dot nothing happens. You have to click the thread title. Not much of a problem, but confusing.

Pete I did open the 3 tabs to see if there was an option to choose the last post all the 3 box’s give you is the display options

Kevin I opened the address you mentioned and it gives 3 options I choose the last go to the last entry and saved it but it still didn’t work I still go to the first or mid entry

Peter, to make this one work, I think you need to click on the thread title, rather than the time of the last post

On my tablet using chrome and Imac using firefox, I've always gone top right  hand drop down, Activity, All activity, to show the latest post, wasn't aware of any other way.

Kevin appears to work as you advised click on the thread title but it appears to take me back one or two posts ie possibly the last post I viewed, finally happy thanks everyone
