sulzerman
Hi all After investiging a noise from the rear of my spitfire I have found the new propshaft I purchased 14 months ago is knackered. I knew there might be trouble when I saw made in India on the box! The sliding joint has play in it. Can anyone recommend a good repairer or is it scrap? sulzerman
Hi Darren . I rang Dave Mac and they can supply a new prop ready to fit for £120 + vat, sounds like a good deal. They said it was not really worth repairing the Indian one Thanks for you help
Pete Lewis
saw a plumbers van yesterday, it had on the back youve tried the cowboys ......now try an Indian !!!!! good catch phrase considering this slip joint dosnt slide much on its fixed situation but they can wear to be absolute orrible mabe the lack of shift is its downfall Pete
