Just bought these on ebay, mine came with 2 extra bottles, I don't have oxygen acetylene but these heat to 3000 degrees, can gas weld with it but I just wanted it for rusty bolts, bushes etc. Ideal.i don't have any connections with company. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CASTOLIN-PORTABLE-GAS-LEAD-WELDING-BRAZING-PLUMBING-ROOFING-MINI-PORTAPACK-KIT-/234051600492?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l6249&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0

I would say no, it'll give too much distortion, ok for chasis repairs but the gas wouldn't last long, mig would be better. As said I bought it for seized bolts etc. Gets hotter than my plumbers canister blow torch. You can get a cheaper one I think £109, but the extra bottles save you money on the set I bought.
