1969Mk3Spitfire
Any recommendations? Cheap and cheerful Sparkrite or any additional benefit in using a more expensive product?
Colin Lindsay
Do you mean this sort of thing ie checking for a spark at the plug rather than testing the plug itself? I have a set of these in clear rather than red, very easy to use and they confirm a spark at each plug. £15 or thereabouts online.
1969Mk3Spitfire
Thanks, Colin, they are exactly what I mean by cheap and cheerful. Sparkrite seems a common brand. An alternative is by Laser / Sealeys and is a single tester selling for about the same price as 4 of the above. Just wondering if these do anything more than the simple, insert inline jobbies? dougbgt6
Yeh, I got those, keep loosing them an ordering a couple more. A friend has 6 and puts them on his GT6 at shows, quite spectacular. A couple of Christmas' ago I put one in each cracker at our local TSSC party. Doug
