I live near Scarborough North Yorkshire and popped to see a farmer who id heard had a Spitfire sitting in a barn for 20 years. However mine is a 1500 and his is a 1968 3. So no use to me. Total renovation project. Chassis and engine (done only 20 miles since a refurb) in one barn covered in bird crap and body parts in another. Floor pan gone, one sill gone. Hard top there.
