Thanks Clive, I've had a mooch about (and been warned off buying anything from ebay although I suspect it's not all unbranded rubbish!), stupid question time but I just want to confirm before I buy the wrong thing, are these dimensions internal bore or external diameter. Sorry to be a pain!

Newbie here, apologies if this has already been covered but I can't seem to find an answer anywhere. Can anyone please tell me what diameter the fuel pipe should be for a '78 Spitfire from tank to pump? I need to replace mine and currently it has some kind of bride of frankenstein effort comprising 6mm red plastic pipe (external diameter) with what can only be described as garden hose pipe jubilee clipped to either end. Many thanks!
