Thanks Colin.

No I don't think so.
-
Colin it is GE1***1 without giving it all away.
-
Yes Colin all those you mentioned are correct.

I have acquired my herald and have began restoration work.
I just wanted to put it out there and to see if there was any extra info or thoughts to be had.
My herald 13/60 convertible was registered in 1965.
Has had one owner from new. Me being the second.
The previous owner was the company who helped build the bluebird land speed car.
I know the car didn't actually come out till 67 so still a bit confused why mine is a 65.
Got the heritage certificate and this gave me the the info posted.
Thanks.

Hi I think you might be right on the reg number I was thinking that myself.
I have sent off for the original registration paper from the council where it was sent to the dealers.
Just waiting for the reply.
Thanks.

Thanks kevin

Thanks for the advice. I have checked the business that no longer exists but I will explore the paper registration.

Yes apart from the engine number I now have the original number for the engine it looks like it is the original engine that has been rebuilt and stamped again as I can see some of the original numbers underneath.
But I thought I would get the registration number on the certificate.

So I have got my heritage certificate back and still don't have the registration number.
But interesting it went from the factory to the engineering company that made the bluebird.

OK Pete thank you again.

Thanks Pete I will get online today and order one.

I have no idea but a good thought.
All I know is that when acquiring the car it looked untouched for a very long time.
Also as said don't know the reason for all the dates:ie dvla date on the reg 1965. First reg date Jan 1983.
Do you think getting a heritage certificate will be of benefit at this moment.
I know it was barned in 1995.

The date comes from dvla when I put the registration in the mot checker.
