  1. Hello My Vitesse 1600 MK1 is leaking from the speedo drive. Allow me a silly question:-) Is it possible to renew the "19 SEAL SPEEDO PINION - J TYPE" only by removing the speedo drive and housing? regards, Flemming
  2. Hello all. I'm not sure if I expressed myself clearly. The door fits the doorway allright. It is the hinges that either binds or the two are misaligned. I find the latter hard to believe given the distance between them. i suspect the hinges themselves. I do have a spare set. is it possible to fit them one by one supporting the door properly, do you think. Without the door getting misaligned. regards, Flemming
  3. Hello Guys Thank you for thoughts and advises. Cheers, Flemming
  4. Hello Over night the off side door was hard to open and close. Before that I noticed that the striker on the door frame was weared, meaning that the door has started to sag, starting last year. Over winter the car has been on jack stands. I suspect the chassis off side front outrigger to have been bended upwards. Any comments nost wellcome. Thanks. regards, Flemming
  5. Yeah, you're right. Fortunately I have rep kits for both slave and master.
  6. Being a Vitesse 1600, 1965, which clutch would it be? 7/8bore I guess?
  7. Thanks, Pete I have a leaking system. At present I don't know where the leak is located. After 2 months driving in the spring, I put the car back in the barn for 2 months. When I came back yesterday, the mastercylinder was almost empty. Filled up the clutch worked again, all though softer than normally. To me this indicates a leak and not broken master- or slave cylinder. regards, Flemming
  8. Hello The clutch slave cylinder seems rather inaccessible. Both for bleeding and removal. Any advise how to get access to it, would be most appreciated? regards, Flemming
