Found Tech Autos of Colchester online, anyone used them for carpets?

Thanks for that Pete, that's well worth knowing.

Colin, I have also bought the same one. I’m think I’ve found a suitable way to fit it - but not quite complete.
I can take a few photos when I’m next working on the car if you’re interested?
I seem to remember that Audi deflectors were the most suitable. Not sure on sizes though, have you both bought Audi A3 deflectors?

Shell v-power (or similar 99 RON unleaded) and a splash of Millers will be fine in the Vitesse.

MG owners club is not really a club at all. It is a privately owned company which is nice and profitable.
MGCC is the "proper" MG club.
Ah I see, many thanks for that Clive.

As far as I can see, the MG owners club are celebrating the centenary at Gaydon in May not Silverstone in June

Sws999, FWIW I think your question was perfectly reasonable and understandable. I must say though that it's surprising that a TR6 is easier to get in and out of than a Porsche!

Malvern last year was superb, we thought the site organisation was exceptional. If you're right Sue, to then decamp to Stafford on the cheap this year has surely contributed to this result.

Hi Mick,
Loving this saga and so pleased that you've hit upon such a fine car. Buy it now!
Anything can happen in a couple of months, just ask Boris.....

He will be asking somewhere in the region of €15K or €16K.
Always remember, he can ask whatever he wants! If the restoration was some time ago, you should be able to negotiate downwards. Pictures please....

Update: now reached reserve

10K would be good value (probably) certainly much vheaper than restoring one. Besides, where else can you buy a 5000mile car for 10K these days? Buy it, use it every day. That would upset a lot of people who would objet to it getting used, (tough luck, they should buy it) but it would last as long as we can sensibly buy petrol....
Only just over halfway to reserve at the moment and finishes today..........

Also available from Mark Field (ex-Jigsaw)

Bit cheaper if you go direct through Classic Oils at Bicester, nice place too if you can collect

No, it's the fact that saloons - presumably for a) shelter from the blazing sun and b) more suitable for AC - are becoming more sought after than convertibles...
Good point! But it's sure going to get hot in there...........

Interesting that the Vitesse saloon prices seem to be on the up at the moment

Well done Adrian for rescuing the 13/60. Great car and perfect for summer!
-
I'll stick with the bathtub at that price............

I'm sure that given time, anything on the old messageboard will be revisited here anyway!

Vitesse now reduced by £2k..................
-
With regard to the OP, I've never seen the appeal of wire wheels on a Vitesse
